New features of WebSphere Application Server 7:
–

• WebSphere Application Server V7 Beta adds support for new technologies with a focus on standards support and ease of use to WASv6.1
• V7 is the first release of WebSphere Application Server to support the full Java EE 5 specification. V7 is also built on top of the Java SE 6 runtime environment, which provides several new APIs for increased developer productivity.
• V7 also offers a host of new capabilities for system administrators. You can now choose to install new optional components for implementing a more flexible, scalable, and asynchronous administrative topology. To help simplify WebSphere Application Server administration, a new properties-file-based configuration utility allows easy importing and exporting of configuration values.
• V7 includes support for multiple security domains, in addition to fine-grained administrative access control and robust security auditing capabilities. Creating and managing SSL certificates has also been simplified in this release.
• Web services support is expanded in many areas, including support for SOAP 1.2, MTOM, XOP, WS-ReliableMessaging, WS-Trust, WS-SecureConversation, and Kerberos Token Profile. Administration of Web services is also improved in this release.
• V7 offers a wide range of other enhancements, including improvements to the built-in messaging framework, the latest version of IBM Support Assistant, and a secure HTTP proxy server that is suitable for use on servers that are exposed to requests from an external network.

Problem:

Out of memory error jump when creating deployment management profile for websphere process server by using the pcatAIX.bin.

Cause:

java's max memory size is too small to run to the end.

Solution:

 Increase the -Xmx  parameter of the java, run java pcat.jar directly as below.

../../java/jre/bin/java -cp :pcat.jar: -Dtemp.dir=/tmp/ -Dis.jvm.home=/opt/IBM/WebSphere/ProcServer/bin/ProfileCreator_wbi/../../java -Dis.jvm.temp=1 -Dis.media.home= -Dis.launcher.file=/opt/IBM/WebSphere/ProcServer/bin/ProfileCreator_wbi/pcatAIX.bin -Dis.jvm.file=/tmp/isjFTmbUb -Dis.external.home=/opt/IBM/WebSphere/ProcServer/bin/ProfileCreator_wbi -Xms20m -Xmx4000m run

-Xmx4000m means the most available memory size.

After having passed the final test on 21Sep, I am being a driver , and waiting the coming C1 Driver Certificate.

"getSession(true)" or "getSession(false)", it is a very big problem for NXFFP.

When userA using the system, userA suddenly was changed userB with userB was online.

This is the big problem. App server's? or HttpSession's? or Code's? or the God?

 getSession(true) or getSession(false) maybe is the critical cause.
